Empowering Women and Girls in Haiti Through Education, Mentorship & Community Action

Through community-based, bottom-up initiatives and collective action, Womenful Voice is working to bring about lasting change to women and girls in Haiti. Our programs aim to inspire and make a real difference in the lives of those we try to help by addressing local needs, building community engagement, empowering this marginalized group, and fostering a culture of civic responsibility.

Womenful Voice is a women’s empowerment initiative in Haiti creating real, community-driven change. Through programs such as our Scholarship Program, Menstruation is Power, Mentorship Program, Reforestation Project, and annual Christmas Event, we provide women and girls with access to education, health resources, and leadership opportunities. The Scholarship Project

Our Scholarship Program provides girls and boys in Haiti with access to quality education and the support they need to succeed. Through financial assistance, mentorship, and community engagement, we help students stay in school, grow in confidence, and build brighter futures. As part of the program, children also participate in planting and nurturing trees, giving back to their communities while developing environmental awareness and a strong sense of stewardship.

The Mentorship Project

Empowering the Next Generation of Haitian Women At Womenful Voice, we believe that mentorship transforms potential into purpose. Our Mentorship Program connects professional women from around the world with Haitian girls who are ready to learn, grow, and shape their futures. Through a structured 8-week virtual mentorship, participants receive one-on-one guidance to explore their interests, discover career paths, and develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed. Mentors help students turn what they love into what they can do for a living, supporting them in creating action plans, building leadership skills, and preparing for future opportunities. This program doesn’t just uplift individuals, it strengthens entire communities by breaking cycles of poverty, encouraging female leadership, and promoting long-term social impact.

The Communal Garden

We provide essential financial literacy programs designed to equip women and girls with the knowledge to manage their finances effectively. Our workshops cover budgeting, saving, and investment strategies, enabling participants to achieve economic independence. By fostering financial skills, we empower them to make informed decisions that lead to improved livelihoods for themselves and their families.

Menstruation is Power

Empowering Women and Girls Through Education and Dignity Menstruation should never be a barrier to education or opportunity. Our Menstruation is Power program works to end period poverty in Haiti by empowering women and girls with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to manage their menstrual health safely and sustainably. Through workshops on menstrual education, body autonomy, and hygiene, we dispel myths, promote open conversations, and help participants understand their bodies with confidence. The program also distributes sustainable and reusable menstrual products, reducing waste while supporting girls to stay in school, even during their menstrual cycle. By combining education, empowerment, and sustainability, we’re creating a movement where menstruation becomes a source of pride, not shame.

The Reforestation Project

Our Reforestation Project engages Haitian women in environmental restoration to combat food insecurity and climate change. Amid rising instability and limited food imports, women are leading community tree-planting and sustainable agriculture efforts. By restoring land and promoting local food production, we empower women as environmental stewards who strengthen both ecosystems and livelihoods.
